Job description

Overall Purpose of the Role

Argenbright Security Europe Limited delivers integrated, risk based security solutions that combine advanced technology with highly skilled security professionals. Through the ASEL Risk Modelling methodology, we design proportionate, intelligence led, and commercially effective security solutions that close traditional security gaps and deliver measurable value.

The Estate Watch Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the commercial growth of the Estate Watch service across industrial estates, trading parks, and multi tenant commercial environments. This role focuses on new customer acquisition, expansion of existing estate relationships, and transitioning clients from fragmented or legacy security arrangements into a modern, integrated Estate Watch model.

You will act as the commercial owner of the Estate Watch proposition, managing the full sales lifecycle from prospect identification and stakeholder engagement through to contract conversion and renewal planning. The role requires translating complex, multi service security solutions into clear, compelling commercial propositions aligned to customer risk profiles, budgets, and operational requirements.

This position plays a critical role in supporting ASEL’s transformation strategy by replacing historic, infrastructure heavy or low margin service models with scalable, subscription based Estate Watch solutions that drive long term profitability and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Sales

  • Identify, develop, and convert new Estate Watch opportunities across industrial estates, trading parks, and multi tenant environments

  • Build, manage, and maintain a robust sales pipeline focused on recurring revenue through Estate Watch Bronze, Silver, and Gold service tiers

  • Deliver against agreed revenue, margin, and customer acquisition targets

  • Drive upsell and cross sell opportunities across the wider ASEL portfolio, including drone enabled services, keyholding, alarm response, temporary security solutions, and guarding where appropriate

Client Engagement and Solution Design

  • Lead consultative sales engagements to assess estate level risk, crime trends, operational constraints, and budget considerations

  • Develop and present clear, credible proposals that demonstrate operational, financial, and risk reduction benefits

  • Position ASEL as a long term strategic security partner rather than a transactional service provider

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with landlords, managing agents, and estate stakeholders

Internal Collaboration and Governance

  • Work closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and the Security Operations Centre to ensure sales commitments are operationally deliverable and commercially sound

  • Support the ongoing evolution of the Estate Watch proposition, including pricing structures, service tiers, and contract modernisation

  • Ensure all activity complies with ASEL policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards, including data protection and privacy

Working Relationships

  • Direct Reports: None

  • Internal: Security Operations Centre, Integrated Security Services, Temporary Services, and Risk Services

  • External: Estate Watch members, managing agents, landlords, and local stakeholders including neighbourhood policing

Performance and Reward

This role carries clearly defined sales and revenue targets. Success will be measured through proactive business development, effective pipeline management, customer retention, and margin improvement.

The position offers uncapped commission directly linked to individual sales performance and sustainable revenue generation. Commission structures are designed to reward long term customer value, not short term wins.

Working Hours and Location

  • Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00

  • Occasional evening or weekend working may be required to support customer engagement or estate level activity

  • Regular travel to customer sites and industry events is required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Strong interest in business development or sales with ambition to build a long term commercial career

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders

  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of revenue targets and pipeline management

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously

  • Confident user of CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools

  • Professional, ethical, and customer focused approach aligned to ASEL values

  • Willingness to travel as required

  • You MUST have a full driving license to be considered for this role.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer facing roles

  • Understanding of service based or subscription led sales models

  • Experience working towards sales targets

  • Exposure to proposal development, pricing discussions, or contract support

  • Familiarity with industrial estates, multi tenant environments, or landlord operating models

  • Full UK driving licence
